Because of the European Championship roller skate will be taken in the city of Vic:
The European Championship is the most celebrated competition fort all the sportsmen and sportswomen. Spain has a great potential in that contest, we have the responsibility and the happiness of the compete at home what’s more in Vic a city with a very well-known results on this kind of commitments with massive audience.
From the RFEP (Spanish Royal Federation of Roller Skate) we trust on that championship will be a success at all levels thanks to everybody’s effort.

To all citizens of Vic, thank you all on supporting the sport, particularly the artistic roller skate and knowing their hospitality will be reflected to all the guests and knowing to see a great show at a first level such as a European Championship.

Also I would like to congratulate all the institutions, the CEO, the Town Council of Vic, the managers, the Catalan Federation of roller skate and to all that make the celebration coming through and without them we wouldn’t accomplish. Their success is ours also, to all the roller skaters, the coaches, the judges and calculating the dedication and the work they put in this Championship to all that make it possible my sincerely congratulations. I wish you all good luck and my conviction on this event will be successful in organization and on mass media and sportive also.

I’m very proud to welcome you all to this web page of the first European Championship of Figure roller skate that will take place in our city on September thanks to the lead and drive of the Consell Esportiu d’Osona,

The roller skate is being well known with a long tradition in our city and our region as well. It is thanks to all the clubs and associations that it has been developing and expanding progressively over the past 50 years of this sport’s practice.

The challenge of the organization of this European Championship has been taken by the Consell Esportiu d’Osona that works without surrender to keep alive the practice of the sport in the city and region. I want to encourage all the people involved in this project, and also thank them for the effort, that once again will make of our city the centre of European sport, with a large participation of different countries federations.

The sportive practice and the sport means a special values on sharing participation, coexistence and courage very alive in our city because of the sports entities helping on increase the values and to all the citizens that practice any sport as an amateur or for their healthy lives.

Welcome to Eurovic 2010

For Consell Esportiu d’Osona it is a very important challenge to organize this competition.  It Will be the first time that a Catalan Sport Council realize an European event and; we have the capacity , we are motivated, we have the courage and the professionality to do it.

This  organization develops its activity in a region with enthusiastic on artistically roller skating. The last season we counted with 472 roller skaters divided in six categories representing 15 clubs of the region of Osona.

All along the season we organize differents activities and competitions that give the opportunity to our sportsmen and sportswomen to enjoy closely in company of others rollers skaters from others clubs, towns and schools. We know that is the way to introduce sport practice in their lives for ever in a competitive way or as a diversion.

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to let all those who practice and are involved in this sport, children, youngsters, trainers, to take a closer look to the professional figure roller skater, so they can learn from the best and enjoy the great show.

We await you all in Vic.

Eurovic 2010

The long tradition of artistically roller-skate in Vic and the region of Osona is setting since mid 20 century up until nowadays.

For us, the council, to organize the European Championship on Junior and Senior rank is great challenge to achieve.

Eurovic 2010 will be a target to achieve and promoted the practice of our sport.
The competition will be celebrated from 20th to 25th September 2010 in pavilion, “Castell d’en Planes”, opening may 2009.
That week we will see the most competitive roller-skate from Europe in the individual male and female; pairs rank in artistically and dance.
The city of Vic will be the scenery to welcome countries such as: Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Slovakia, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain.
From Ceo we would translate the spirit of the sport and make you to enjoy us on that celebration.
